Service Alerts
The Metra Electric District and Union Pacific North Line will run extra train service for anticipation of larger than normal crowds for Chicago home games at Soldier Field. For more information click here and visit metra.com.
As a reminder, Metra will be operating on a reduced schedule Tuesday, December 24, 2024. On Wednesday, December 25, 2024, Metra will operate on a Sunday/Holiday schedule. Click here for train schedules and ticket information.
Track construction will be taking place on Saturday, December 21. Trains may incur delays enroute up to 20 minutes behind schedule passing through the work zone. Please listen to announcements for any platform changes. For additional information visit metra.com/constructionnotices.
Following the morning rush on Wednesday, Dec. 4, the temporary outbound platform at the Geneva Station will move to the southwest side of Third Street. All trains will board passengers from the rear cars on this platform. Please allow additional time to access the in-service platform and exercise caution near the work zones.
