Any person who believes he or she has been subject to discrimination under Title VI on the basis of race, color or national origin may file a Title VI complaint with Metra within 180 days from the date of the alleged discrimination. Metra reserves the right to reject complaints not timely filed.

In cases where the complainant is unable or incapable of providing a written statement, but wishes Metra to investigate alleged discrimination, a verbal complaint of discrimination may be made to Metra. A complaint must, however be signed by the complainant or his/her representative in order for Metra to proceed with an investigation.
