RTA SALES TAX INFORMATION
A portion of Metra’s revenue is distributed by the RTA from a regional transportation sales tax. Information on RTA sales taxes can be found here: http://www.rtams.org/rtams/salesTaxHome.jsp. Through that site you can see the breakdown of revenue collected in different counties and the allocation of funds to different agencies.
OFFICE OF THE EXECUTIVE INSPECTOR GENERAL
The Illinois Office of Executive Inspector General (OEIG) serves as Inspector General for Metra and the other regional transit boards (RTA, CTA and Pace). This page contains information about that office and ways to report misconduct, fraud or abuse related to Metra.
